Visitors have the option of two car parks close by to the hospital; the NCP in Carburton Street or Pure Parking in Devonshire Row Mews. There is also meter parking in the surrounding streets; this requires dexterous booking by text! Please allow for heavy traffic in the area when planning your travels.

Parking is available in the St Thomas NHS parking lot. The car park is pay on foot so please make sure you have change. You should pay before you return to your car so you have an exit ticket. The charge is £2.30 per hour or any part of an hour. Please anticipate heavy traffic in the area - it is generally easier to travel by cab or public transport.

By Rail

The HCA Healthcare rooms are located at The Shard. The Paediatric Rooms enjoy great facilities and views (including views of the railway station below). This location is ideal for those travelling in from the South East. The entrance can be found next to The Shangri-La hotel and is signposted HCA Healthcare UK. We are on the 6th floor.

Car parking is available in Kipling Street and Southwark Bridge Road. The Shard sits within London’s Congestion Charge zone.

By Rail and Underground

Underground and mainline trains come into London Bridge station, which is directly next to The Shard and a short journey from other major transport hubs in London.

On foot

The Shard is a pleasant 30-minute walk along the South Bank of the Thames from Waterloo station, and a 15-minute walk across London Bridge from the City.
